Privacy Policy

Friendly Fade is a game. We built it to collect as little as possible. This policy explains exactly what the app does with data.
What we do not collect
- No accounts, names, email addresses or phone numbers.
- No location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone access.
- No advertising, no ad identifiers, and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
- No in-app purchases or payment information.
Match results
When you finish a fight, the app sends a short match record to our game server so it can show your recent matches, stats and fighter leaderboard in the Player Hub. A match record contains only: a randomly generated match ID, the two fighters used, the round score, the game mode (vs CPU, local 2-player or arcade), the stage, and the time it was saved. It does not contain your name or any contact details.
To keep your history separate from other players, the server may associate your records with a random identifier stored on your device. Clearing the app's data (or uninstalling) starts a fresh record.
Data is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Like any internet service, our server host receives your device's IP address and basic connection information as part of the request.
Fonts
The Player Hub screen loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When it does, Google receives your IP address and browser information as part of that request, under Google's privacy policy. Google Fonts does not set cookies.
Device features
The app uses vibration for touch-button feedback and locks the screen to landscape. These happen on your device only and send nothing.
How data is used and shared
Match records are used only to show your match history and leaderboard. We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or use it to track you across apps or websites.
Retention and deletion
Match records are kept only to show your history. To have your records deleted, email us at the address below with the approximate dates you played, or clear the app's data to start a new record.
Children
Friendly Fade is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
